FAQs
Yes. For those with a busy schedule, but want to make an investment in learning about themselves and or work through some of the tougher chapters in life, online therapy can be the perfect solution. Similar to in-person therapy, online therapy is a 6-8 week commitment of weekly sessions. Appointments can be blocked out for the 6-weeks or scheduled through the online portal on a week to week basis.
Both clinical psychologists and counsellors administer talk therapy however the training, scope of practice and therapeutic approach can be quite different.
Clinical Psychologists hold a doctorate degree (PsyD. or PhD.) and have the ability to diagnose, test and treat for a wide range of psychological conditions. Counsellors hold a masters degree (psychology, counselling or social work) and typically work on less severe mental health conditions and provide counsel.
Clinical Psychologists use evidence-based modalities for treatment and are covered by most medical insurance programs.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes and are $2200. For family or extended sessions, 90 minutes is $3600, this time allows each person in the session enough space to be heard and for us to work through more difficult communication patterns. Some individuals who benefit from more in-depth sessions also do extended sessions.
You can either book and pay for your session through the online portal or pay after the session.

Yes. Typically therapy comes at a close after we have treated the therapeutic goal, however there may be times when you want to take a break from therapy, that’s okay. We encourage you to discuss that with your therapist so we can create a plan, either a pause or a slow step back so you can integrate the lessons of therapy into life, akin to training wheels on a new bike.
You can find our therapy room at: 23/F, Thyrse House, 16 Pottinger St, Central, Hong Kong.
